HP Feminine-Oriented Conceptual Laptops

Russian industrial designer Nikita Buyanov to create a string of feminine-oriented conceptual laptops. They are attractive enough for women. The most adorable laptop has to be the HP Make-Up. This pink, powder case-shaped computer can certainly be used for makeup, as it contains both a small compact mirror and a big mirror which can be shifted to a screen when needed.

HP Perfume, on the other hand, is somewhat soothing if the laptop owner likes aromatherapy. There are buttons which allow you to change and adjust both the smell and the light when sitting back to relax.

Nikita Buyanoc has even created a laptop for moms called the HP Mama. This laptop is designed for women who work outdoors while they watch over their kids. The two Bluetooth cameras with amplifiers help keep track of the kids, and a bangle acts as a sensor which sends a warning when the kids have gone too far away.

Designer Jinsun Park from Korea has come out with a simple tool called Color Picker. Place the pen against an object and press the scan button, the color will be detected by the color sensor and the RGB cartridges in the pen will mixed the required inks to create the target color.

D:Scribe is a digital fountain pen that allows users to send SMS and email messages from paper. Just write out the message and circle the persons name to send.

This does away with a keypad and allows you to focus on communicating in a more personal way from anywhere as long as you have a bluetooth enabled phone and a surface to write on. The pen also records everything you write which can be accessed on a computer. Of course for the creative peeps, if writing doesnt suit your fancy, the D:Scribe also works with genius and not so genius drawings of brilliance.

The design is loosely based on a quill and inkwell where by the quill is the writing apparatus and the inkwell is an electromagnetic induction charger.

Once a message is sent, the status is displayed on the built-in OLED screen. The designers have also expanded its capabilities beyond that of messaging. Should your home electronics and appliances be bluetooth enabled, you could potentially program the pen to input commands by writing in the air. A little abstract but lets pretend this idea is more a patent for possibilities.

Steampunk LCD mod

From owners website : This is a 22″ widescreen LCD that I built to compliment my brass keyboards. The frame is solid 1/4-inch brass that has been sanded and polished to a high shine. The base features a mixture of brass and black marble with a small brass “cord catch” to keep the power and data cords tidy.

This particular LCD is going to be seen in an upcoming, modernized, arthaus/indy/slasher remake of the old Nosferatu silent film along with a custom keyboard that has runes on the keys. The film is being made by Red Scream Films LLC. and looks like it’s going to be really cool.
